I am a third-year journalism student at the University of Rhode Island. I began my journalism career at Bristol Community College, where I was an editor at the HAWK student newspaper. Since joining the paper, I developed a passion for journalism and began exploring everything the field had to offer. Though we had a small news staff consisting of eight people, I appreciated the team I had as we worked every week to produce news stories and share the voice of the student body across the Bristol Community.​

The HAWK allowed me to advance my career by helping me secure various internships. My first internship was the New Bedford Light News organization, where I worked alongside fellow fantastic interns to create news videos in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

I now write and create newscasts for the Good Five Cent Cigar sports section, where I have written and covered various URI men's and women's sports for three semesters.
